Discover the best routes and day trips along the Costa Blanca and live in a luxury villa.

Would you like to live in a place where you can enjoy nature and cultural heritage without giving up luxury and comfort? If so, keep reading and discover the best routes and day trips you can take in the Costa Blanca, one of Spain’s most attractive and exclusive areas.

The Costa Blanca is an ideal destination for lovers of nature and culture. Its mild, sunny climate, its fine-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, its mountain and valley landscapes, its charming villages steeped in tradition, its historical and artistic monuments, its varied and healthy cuisine, its leisure and sports options… All of this makes the Costa Blanca a unique and special place.

You’ll be amazed by everything you can discover and enjoy in this wonderful place.

The first route: The Montgó Natural Park is one of the Costa Blanca’s natural gems. It is a limestone massif rising 753 metres high between Dénia and Jávea, offering breathtaking views over the sea and the mountains. The park is home to a wide variety of plant and animal life, with more than 650 plant species and numerous birds, reptiles, and mammals. In addition, it boasts a rich historical heritage and culture, with archaeological remains, caves, springs, hermitages, and mills.

The park also offers several hiking routes for all levels and tastes. One of the most popular is the one leading to the Cova del Aigua, a cave that houses an ancient Arab cistern that collected rainwater. The route starts at the park car park and takes approximately one hour there and back. The path travels through a Mediterranean forest of pine trees, kermes oaks, and palm trees, with views of the sea and the Peñón de Ifach. The cave is located on the north-facing slope of the Montgó and has a wide, bright entrance. Inside, you can see the cistern, which has a large capacity in litres and was used to supply nearby communities.

A second interesting route is the one that climbs to the summit of the Montgó, from where you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the entire Costa Blanca. The route starts at the park’s recreational area and takes approximately three hours there and back. The trail is demanding and includes some steep, rocky sections, so it’s recommended to go well equipped and with caution. The ascent runs through an arid, rocky landscape dotted with aromatic plants such as rosemary, thyme, and lavender.

A third route takes you along the Cabo de San Antonio, a marine reserve that forms part of the natural park. The route starts at the port of Jávea and takes approximately one hour there and back. The path runs alongside the cliffs of the cape, offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea and the island of Portitxol. At the end, you reach the Cala del Tangó, a small cove of stones and rocks where you can swim in its crystal-clear waters.
